We held a single day Peckham Digital event on the 26th Oct 2024, at Staffordshire St, thanks to some funding we received from Southwark Council’s Neighbourhood Fund.

We hosted 3 workshops: using Plotters with Jessica Claire Edwards, Hacking the Browser with Joana Chicau, and an Intro to VCV rack with Antonio Roberts and Tyger Blue - all sold out (great to see demand, shows we're doing something right).

In the evening, Tyger, Antonio, Joana, Mahalia and xname performed at our algorave, and we also had a great open mic with 4 new people playing, so we'll keep that going for future nights. We had great help from our volunteers Melissa, Daniel and Annabella and everything went super smoothly thanks to our sound engineer Oliver.

My co-founder Bea even baked a cake to celebrate Peckham Digital’s birthday (lemon cake in case you’re wondering… and yes it was delicious).

Antonio brought his Game Boy Camera down and we filmed his set in glorious pixel-vision - seriously cool and hopefully we’ll figure a way to incorporate this in to the next festival.

Next up is planning the main event for next year, likely Autumn 2025. Funding applications, here we come... a lot of plans to make it bigger and better, watch this space!
